Natalie Beridze is a Georgian artist, composer and songwriter.
Born in Tbilisi in 1979, she became known as the first female electronic music artist from Georgia by performing worldwide.
In 2002, she got a record deal in Germany and lived in Cologne until 2008, where she produced music under the stage name TBA. She has released music in Europe on Max.E, Monika Enterprise, CMYK, Laboratory Instinct and Chainmusic. In parallel to her solo projects, she has collaborated with artists such as Thomas Brinkmann, AGF (Antye Greie), Gudrun Gut, Joerg Follert, Marcus Schmickler, Nika Machaidze aka Nikakoi, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Gacha Bakradze.
In addition to her contribution to Georgian electronic music and song writing, Beridze also works on compositions for acoustic instruments, orchestra and choir. Some of her piano pieces have been performed by Georgian-Swiss pianist Tamro Kordzaia and Swiss-born Vera Kappeler.
Beridze currently lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. She teaches songwriting and music production at CES (Creative Educational Studio).
