Daniela Huerta born in 1982 in Guadalajara, Mexico, now based in Berlin, Germany.
Born in Mexico, Daniela Huerta gained her BA (Hons) in Fine Arts from the Central Saint Martins School in London.
Her work oscillates between performance art, sound design, and multimedia projects, and she has exhibited at events such as arteBA (Buenos Aires), Artissima (Milan), Drawing Now (Paris) and Musée du Luxembourg (Paris).
Huerta has developed her own multi-layered and eclectic form of DJ-ing under the moniker Baby Vulture.
When she raises her many voices it is like a call, pure, long and throbbing. She digs, she excavates.
In an almost archeological manner, she keeps searching for distinct tones and noises that she turns into transportive collages where fragments of sound, space, and time come together.
She has presented her work in CTM festival, Heroines of Sound, LETRA / TONE festival, Boiler Room and many more.
Other interdisciplinary projects and collaborations include Prima Materia, Soundwalk Collective and musical duo Cornerbred.
